PARALEGALS AND SUPPORT STAFF:Kubicki Draper seeks experienced and motivated paralegals to join our successful paralegal program. Applicants should exhibit excellent research, writing and communication skills. Paralegal degrees, college degrees and other certifications and training in legal/non-legal fields which provide the applicant with special skills which will enhance their ability to be an important part of a legal team are sought.
The Firm also seeks experienced legal assistants, office services staff, clerks and other support staff to work with our team of attorneys and paralegals. Applicants should have excellent personal communication skills and be proficient in current office technology.
We are currently filling the following positions:
Miami - Paralegal with 5 + years of complex litigation experience. Must possess strong writing skills, excellent computer literacy and experience in the defense of civil litigation. Insurance defense and Construction Defects experience strongly preferred. Must be organized with the ability to handle large voluminous cases.
Fort Myers - Legal Assistant with 3 - 5 years of litigation experience. Prior Insurance Defense and Construcion Defects experience preferred. Candidate must have excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and think creatively.
WPB - Part-time File Clerk with 2 - 3 years experience in a law firm or comparable professional services environment. Duties to include, but not limited to general office filing, office copying and scanning, backing up primary Legal Assistant, and backing up receptionist and front desk coverage. Candidate must be reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task a must. Must be organized, detail oriented, and possess the ability to complete tasks through completion with minimum supervision.
Orlando - Legal Assistant with 3 - 5 years of litigation experience. Prior Insurance Defense and Construcion Defects experience preferred. Must be familiar with court procedures and have experience filing Complaints. The ideal candidate for this position will possess great communication skills, both verbal and written, and must be organized, detail oriented, and possess the ability to complete tasks through completion with minimum supervision.
Tampa - Paralegal with 3 - 5 years of litigation experience. Prior Insurance Defense experience preferred. Candidate must have excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and think creatively. Must have the ability to summarize medical records and be familiar with medical terminology.
