Nicole joined Kubicki Draper's Miami office as an associate in 2007, and practices in the areas of General Liability, Products Liability and Insurance Defense. Before joining Kubicki Draper, Ms. Ellis was an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office where she built a reputation for her thorough and aggressive approach to case investigation, preparation and conducting of discovery. During her tenure at the State Attorney's Office, Ms. Ellis also trained and supervised the office's newest attorneys as a County Training Attorney for the Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Crimes Unit.

Prior to attending law school, Nicole worked in the news and entertainment industries, focusing on marketing and production. She carried out college marketing campaigns for a major record label, worked at the news desk for Chicago's local Fox affiliate, was a weekend producer for WGN's historic radio station, and assisted in the production of a popular nationally syndicated talk show.
