Ms. Lewis was born and raised in the Burlington, Vermont area. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire and her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. After working with a general practice in New Hampshire, she relocated to Florida in 2003 and focused exclusively on insurance defense.

Julie enjoys the relationships developed with her clients and being someone they trust to handle their matters in a thorough and professional manner. She has tried several cases to verdict and has successfully brought to conclusion dozens of cases through alternative dispute resolution. Julie also concentrates her practice in defending carriers and their insureds in matters involving over-treatment, over-billing and suspected fraud by medical care providers.

In addition to her practice, Julie serves on the Board of Directors as President of Literacy Volunteers of Lee County, an adult literacy non-profit organization.
