Jorge Santeiro Jr. Tampa
Jorge's practice is devoted exclusively to civil litigation. Jorge began his legal career as a United States Air Force JAG. While on active duty, he tried felony level criminal cases before military courts-martial and tried misdemeanors as a Special Assistant U.S. attorney before federal magistrates. As a claims officer, Jorge counseled the medical staffs of two busy military hospitals on medico-legal and bio-ethics issues. He was also in charge of handling claims filed against the Air Force under the Federal Tort Claims Act, including medical malpractice, automobile and premises liability claims. Jorge's civil litigation defense practice has included automobile, premises liability and trucking litigation as well as construction defect and product liability defense. A substantial part of his practice also involves first party life and disability insurance litigation, including bad faith insurance cases and cases involving group plans governed by ERISA.
