Ms. Rankin's practice concentrates in the areas of real property law, commercial transactions, business contracts and commercial leases. She represents institutional lenders as well as buyers and sellers in commercial real estate closings, complex construction loan transactions and business acquisition and sale transactions.  Ms. Rankin also provides extensive representation for commercial landlords, commercial real estate investors, hotel franchisees, restaurant and service station owners and a variety of statewide businesses. Her practice also includes handling closings of  U.S. Small Business Administration 7A and 504 loans. She provides expertise in title matters and issues title insurance through the firm which is an agent for major national title underwriters. Ms. Rankin has had extensive experience representing governmental entities as she handled the real estate closings, issued the title insurance, prepared for eminent domain suits and issued the plat title opinions in conjunction with the acquisition of over 900 land parcels by Broward County, Florida pursuant to its expansion of the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
